After poutine enthusiasts Lindsey and Francis sampled poutine all across Canada, they wanted to create a restaurant concept to reflect their own unique take on the Canadian dish. Their goal was to open a specialty shop where poutine would be a tasty canvas to showcase all kinds of craziness.
In 2011, La Poutine opened it’s doors and did just that. It wasn’t your typical poutine spot, It was a place that had options for everyone—purists, vegetarians, vegans and gluten-free folks. At La Poutine we play around with ethnic ingredients and get inspired by food trends and pop culture from all over the world. Since 2011, La Poutine has been repeatedly voted Best Poutine in YEG and 5th Best across Canada. C’est Bon!
